Basic configuration

  • Feeder:
    • Komfi single action feeding head.
    • Sheet overlap sensor for protection of pressure roller from film sticking in case
      of a miss-feed.
    • Additional separation adjustable blowers for reliable separation of sheets from the pile.
  • Laminating Unit:
    • Adjustable distance stoppers for lamination unit to enable processing thick substrates
      and windows lamination.
    • ”On-the-fly” side-adjustable unwind air expansion shaft for 3″ reel core.
    • Adjustable spread roll for perfect smoothing of difficult film before lamination roller.
    • IR heating for laminating cylinder.
    • Temperature sensor inside the cylinder for extremely precise regulation.
    • Rubber coated pressure roller for laminating unit, PUR pressure roller for embossing unit.
  • Embossing Unit:
    • Sheet preheater in front of the embossing roller to activate surface before embossing occurs.
    • Powerful pneumatic pressure system to ensure excellent laminating and embossing result.
  • Separator & Delivery:
    • Decurling unit consisting of bar and roller with position control to move the snapping moment automatically when the position of decurler is changed.
    • Built-in perforator to enable sheet separation, placed behind pull rollers to avoid web brakes.
    • Cam driven separation roller.
      Skewing wheel for fine adjustment of snapping to avoid film flagging.
    • Adjustable speed of snapping roller for perfect separation of difficult jobs.
    • Fixed delivery desk.

  • Stop on the sheet overlap to avoid waste sheets.
  • Zero overlap possibility for processing thick substrates.
  • Pressure and temperature drop detection to prevent irregularity in lamination quality.
  • End of job function for easy rewind of film.
  • Sensor for sheet separation detection and jam detection.

  • Built-in internet connectivity for service support.

Options

  • Sheet preheater for lamination to increase durability and adhesion of lamination.
  • PUR pressure roller (for laminating unit) for longer roller life.
  • Teflon pressure roller (for laminating unit) with non-sticking surface to reduce film
    or duplex print marking on the roller surface and minimize cleaning effort.
  • Film slitter to cut film to the requested width.
  • Additional On roll perforator.
  • Integrated Effect foiling device (OTF) with possibility to apply PSA film too.
  • External Effect foiling device (OTF).
  • 1″ unwinding shaft for effect foiling.
  • Autopilot to monitor and control supply of film. Useful in workshops where one
    person operates more than one equipment.
  • Antistatic bar removes static charge from the separator to avoid thin sheets wrapping onto
    the rollers.
  • Air ionizer for smooth sheets unloading without static charge.
  • Automatic (pneumatic) skew wheel enables 3 modes of work and therefore increases
    reliability of separation when processing wide range of jobs. Good to use for long sheets.
    Setting is from touch screen, not manually.
  • Jogging table.
  • Automatic sheets stacker.
  • External cooling unit for embossing roller.
